Come meet the baby clams, oysters, and scallops being raised by the non-profit group ReClam the Bay and learn how they improve water quality, provide habitat for the other inhabitants of the Bay, and stabilize the shorelines. Open to adults. Registration required. ReClam the Bay is a non-profit volunteer organization whose members raise shellfish in twelve up-wellers (nurseries) around the Barnegat Bay estuary. Their baby clams, oysters, and bay scallops help the public to better understand what an integral role shellfish play in the health of the water and its inhabitants. Come meet the "babies" and learn how they improve water quality, provide habitat for the other residents of the Bay, and stabilize the shorelines. All programs subject to change or cancellation.
