The Atlantic County Library System provides free computer access at all 10 branches. All of the public computers have Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access and One Note) installed for your use. Of course, all of our public computers provide Internet access, so you can check your email, surf the web, play games and yes, even read books! Our branches also provide copiers, fax machines, scanners and meeting spaces with free wi-fi for your use (call ahead to see what each branch offers).
Our computers utilize a computer reservation system. If you have a library card you may use the computers for up to 3 hours per day (2 hours plus a 1 hour extension if there is no wait). If you do not have a library card, you may still use the public computers by obtaining a guest pass at the circulation desk. Guest pass users are limited to 1 hour of computer use per day.
Printing
All branches also provide black and white as well as color printing. The printers are laser printers and provide excellent quality results.
- ALL color printing is .30 cents per page.
- Black and white printing is .15 cents per page.
Patrons may bypass printing fees by emailing or saving documents to their personal flash drives. Staff is available to assist patrons with any questions on these options.

Flash drives
You may use your own flash drives in our computers, in fact we encourage it. This enables you to easily save your work or bring your documents, pictures or music into the Library. The Library System computers will not save your work or any of your personal data. Once you end your session, the computer is reset. No personal data, email or history remains. If you need to save your work, you will need to either use a flash drive or a method such as E-mail or Dropbox. Flash drives are usually available at the circulation desk for a small fee.
