Galloway Writing Group
Open to adults. Registration required.
The Galloway Writing Group, led by Scott Gray, is a place where anyone with an interest in writing (fiction, nonfiction, prose, poetry, etc) can meet with other members of the community and discuss the craft, find encouragement, and develop habits to help improve. Scott Gray is a participant in the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).
STEAM Challenge Day
Open to ages 6-12. Registration required. STEAM stands for Science Technology Engineering Art and Math. We'll be doing a STEAM-focused activity that will make you think creatively and have fun doing it. Guardians must remain with children aged 9 and under. Mahjong Madness Mondays
Open to adults. Registration required. Come to the library and have a friendly game of Chinese Mahjong. For those who do not know how to play, there will be instruction and guidance to learn this fun table game. All materials provided. Masks are optional. Brigantine Ink: Writers Meet-up
Open to adults. Registration required. It's winter in Brigantine and we're still here! Come out of hibernation once a week to write with us. Bring your own writing supplies--laptop, journal, etc--and join us for afternoon coffee and quality company. Whether you write poetry, fiction, non-fiction, memoir, or if you've never written before, this is the meet-up where you'll find the encouragement and inspiration to keep you going or get you started.
