Most Atlantic County Library System branches accept donations of books, CDs and DVDs at the discretion of the librarian: the current exception to this is the Somers Point & Egg Harbor City Branches. Donations may be added to our collection or sourced to one of our branch book sales. These book sales, sponsored by the Atlantic County Library Foundation, help provide much needed funding for library programming and events.
In general, we ask that the items be in good condition and published/republished within the past 10 years. Please limit your donations to 25 items. Packed them in bags or boxes and present them inside at the circulation desk not left in our book drops. Each branch handles donations a bit differently, for additional information or questions about specific items contact your local ACLS branch.
