Wi-Fi Hotspots

ACLS has 35 T-Mobile LTE Hotspots available for circulation to our adult patrons. Each hotspot can connect up to 15 devices with unlimited high-speed data to-go at no charge.

Checkout & Connect

  • Adult patrons may borrow one ACLS Mobile Hotspot at a time.
  • The loan period for the devices is 14 days with up to 1 renewal if there are no holds on the device.
  • To place a hold on a Mobile Hotspot with your ACLS account click here. Holds are limited to one per adult account and cannot be placed if a device is already in your possession.
  • Overdue hotspots will be deactivated 24 hours after their due date.
  • There is no usage cap on the T-Mobile Hotspots. Disregard the display as data will automatically reset.

There is NO fee to check out an ACLS Mobile Hotspot! Adults can checkout one hotspot per account for 14 days with up to 1 renewal if there are no holds on the device.

Overdue hotspots will be deactivated 24 hours after their due date.

Late fee:

  • $1 per day ($10 max)

Replacement costs:

  • $90 replacement fee for lost/damaged device
  • $36 replacement fee for lost/damaged Mophie charging cord
  • $14 replacement fee for lost/damaged standard charging cord
  • $2 replacement fee for lost/damaged cases

Getting Started

  1. Power On: Press and hold the Power key for 3 seconds until “Welcome” appears on the display.
  2. Find Network Info: While the display is on, press the Power/Menu button to show the Wi-Fi Name (SSID) and Password.
    • Note: The default name is usually the device model followed by the IMEI’s last 4 digits.
  1. Connect: On your personal device, search for available Wi-Fi networks and select the name shown on the hotspot display.

How to Connect by Device:

  • Windows PC: Click the Wireless Network icon on the taskbar and select the SSID.
  • Mac: Go to System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi and select the SSID.
  • iOS (iPhone/iPad): Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and select the SSID.
  • Android: Go to Settings > Wi-Fi (or Network & Internet). Select the SSID, enter the password shown on the hotspot, and tap Connect.
