Please note, beginning September 22, 2026, the Pleasantville branch of the Atlantic County Library System will adjust its Tuesday hours to 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM. All other operating hours will remain the same.

DigLitLab Grant
The Atlantic County Library System has been awarded $24,500 through the New Jersey State Library's Expanding Digital Literacy grant program to establish a digital literacy lab at its Egg Harbor Township branch, offering workshops on job readiness, computer literacy, entrepreneurship, and one-on-one coaching. Best Branch Library

Galloway Branch Reopening
The ACLS Galloway branch will reopen to the public on Monday, September 29, 2025 following the installation of a new $2.5 million HVAC system.
Mays Landing Branch is Open
The Mays Landing branch of the Atlantic County Library System reopened on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, following the installation of a new $2.68 million HVAC system and generator.
