The Atlantic County Library System will implement a state-of-the-art program on July 10, 2008. The new computer program will support library operations and enhance services for library users. The SirsiDynix Symphony Library Management System will replace the library system's current 18-year old computer system.
SirsiDynix Symphony incorporates open, industry-standard technologies that offer impressive capabilities. These include powerful interface solutions for serving library users, and comprehensive integrated management and productivity solutions. A web-based interface searches many resources simultaneously, making it easier than ever to find a wealth of information from a variety of sources such as the library catalog, electronic databases, and the Internet.
