Many of our branches offer free computer classes. Click the links below for class/registration information.

October Computer Classes

Registration is required. Patrons must contact the branch to register to be guaranteed a seat and workshop materials.

Introduction to Microsoft Word

Open to adults. Registration required and begins two weeks before each session. Computer skills workshop course where students learn the basics of Microsoft Word.

Introduction to Microsoft Power Point

Open to adults. Registration required and begins two weeks before each session. Computer skills workshop course where students learn the basics of Microsoft Power Point.

Introduction to Microsoft Excel

Open to adults. Registration required and begins two weeks before each session. Introductory course to the spread-sheet software Microsoft Excel.

It's Time to Land that Job: Learn Windows Basics

Open to adults. Registration required. Space is limited. For non-computer users seeking a basic understanding of the computer & operations in Microsoft Windows environment, including proper start-up & shut down, running applications, managing & organizing files, and printing.

 Open to adults. Registration required. Space is limited. Training in the basic use of the Internet, understanding website addresses, introduction to major search engines, and elements of a web search with emphasis on web based job searches.

Open to adults. Registration required. Learn how to create a resume. Please bring a list of previous employers with addresses and dates of employment and list of schools attended with dates.
