How would you describe your music?
I make electronic music with an atmospheric quality. |
 |
What instruments do you play and how long have you been making music?
I'm a classically trained pianist but have played guitar, bass and drums in various bands as well. My favorite instruments, though, are analog synthesizers. I've been making and recording music to some capacity since I was about 13. |

Tell us about your recently released album, Compounded?
|
| Over the years of producing and releasing music, I've met a lot of talented folks and when thinking about what I wanted to do for my next release, I opened my music up to them to remix. Compounded is thus a collection of these remixes by fellow electronic musicians all over the world. I'm doubly excited about the project as all proceeds will go to Peta, a charity I feel strongly with. |

What inspires your creations? Where do you get ideas? Who are your influences?
The endless world of audible sound. With a computer and/or synthesizer, the possibilities are limitless. When I sit down in the studio, it's the sounds I create that tend to inspire the direction of the music. |
What do you enjoy most about your job at the library?
Despite my love for creating music, I am a librarian first and foremost. I love helping the public access materials for educational or entertainment purposes. It is an amazing feeling to pinpoint exactly what a patron is looking for, whether that be a book, an internet website or a good music CD!

| Thank you, Bryan. |
