| To "muster out" means to be discharged from military service. Our records come from a ledger book that lists approximately 400 names of mostly Atlantic County veterans of the US Civil War. The ledger book pages list information such as name, rank, regiment, date of discharge, and more. You can search this list by last name or view the entire list of names.
