Welcome to the Atlantic County Library Foundation
Atlantic County Library System/Mays Landing Branch
The Atlantic County Library Foundation (ACLF) was established by people who feel that libraries represent an essential service in our community.
By joining ACLF, you help support the Atlantic County Library System in its efforts to provide the public with everything from books to videos, to computer databases and children's programs, to everything else it does.

Congratulations and appreciation for their perfect attendance in 2011 was extended to seven library employees this year. The Atlantic County Library Foundation awarded the recipients with a certificate of appreciation.
The foundation's endowment-based donor program has raised funds to purchase resources, and for projects such as the library's "First Grade . . . First steps start at the library" backpack program.
About the Foundation
The future calls for a continued effort to raise funds. The ACLF has accepted this challenge. Through a variety
of activities, the foundation works year-round to acquaint the community
with its efforts and to encourage contributions.
The foundation is a recognized 501 (c) 3 nonprofit agency. Donations to the foundation are tax deductible.
The board of directors, made
up of volunteers representing many interests in the community, meets regularly
to discuss foundation efforts and activities, to continue investment planning,
and to hear updates on library needs.
Some of our most recent endeavors throughout the county include:
•Providing funding for Atlantic County Library System's "First Grade . . . First steps start at the library" backpack program since 2003.
• Purchasing a new computer workstation for the Egg Harbor City branch.
• Summer children's programming.
• Donating a new reading table to the Ventnor City Children's Room.
